Why I quit NASA to build SWOLE
A note from Keondez
While prepping to deploy overseas, I caught myself doing what millions of us do: grinding to level up a character in a game. After putting hours in grinding to the top It hit me.
The effort was real, but the gains were fake.
So I wrote a question in my notes app and couldn’t shake it:
Why are we leveling up avatars while the real version of us sits still?
SWOLE is my answer. Movement is the currency. Your overall starts at 60 and climbs with work you actually do whether that's on the bar, the track, the mat. It’s built to be social in a way that matters:
Not for attention, but for accountability. Not to keep you scrolling, but to send you back to the gym.
We missed twice on Kickstarter and we don’t have any investors. Yet, We’re still here.
The mission is simple: help people show up for themselves and each other.
